Allow me to introduce myself. I'm a public servant. An APS 4 to be exact. I work for a large Department in a mind numbingly boring job. I spend my day supervising a small team and otherwise appearing busy (I've learnt that you should never go anywhere without a file under your arm). Appearances are important. No one would ever guess that beneath my pleasant demeanour lurks a seething cauldron of white collar rage. Bubbling away and occasionally erupting.

I haven't really looked at many blogs so I don't know what people write about. I intend to put some of my thoughts and feelings down on paper. It's unlikely that anything of any real value will ever be written here. As much as I'd love to impart philosophical truth's or write beautiful prose it's unlikely that anything I write will ever be more than the self indulgent ramblings of a rather ordinary individual.
